Assistance
East Central Illinois Community Action
Agency has begun accepting appointments for the Low-Income Home
Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) to assist all households who
meet income and program eligible guidelines.
As of December 1, eligible households in
Vermilion County can apply for LIHEAP assistance by scheduling an
appointment at East Central Illinois Community Action Agency (56 N.
Vermilion Street, Danville), between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. or by
calling 217-554-9110.
In Ford and Iroquois Counties, eligible
households may call one of the following locations for an
appointment: Ford County – 217-379-2071 and Iroquois County –
815-265-4685.
The Agency is still scheduling
appointments for residents who are senior citizens, have a
documented disability, have children age six years and under, or
are disconnected from their power provider. The LIHEAP program will
continue until May 31, 2018 or until funding is
exhausted.
